Objective
Clarify, streamline, elevate and bring more visibility to the Slaughter Nostalgia brand and its founder Elisabeth O'Rourke as a leader in the upcycled + sustainable fashion and handmade jewelry industries. We also aimed to streamline social media processes, amplify the overall brand visuals, create consistency, connect and build a community with target audiences, tap into new regions/markets, expand vending events, test out paid advertising, explore new partnership marketing opportunities (Ambassador Program/Affiliate Marketing) and increase overall leads and sales for the business.
Our Approach
When we first partnered with Elisabeth O' Rourke of Slaughter Nostalgia, we started by conducting a deep digital marketing audit of the brand's various platforms, including their website, online Shopify store, email marketing, influencer and collaborations, brand messaging, social media marketing and advertising. Once the audit was completed, we created a robust annual digital marketing strategy that addressed each existing platforms' areas for improvement as well as wholesale and in-person vending strategies for increasing sales.
Once the strategy was complete, we built out frameworks for creating a consistent social media posting schedule on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest + an editorial calendar with bi-monthly blog topics. We also created a weekly content calendar for email marketing and set up various email automations to improve Shop conversions and customer engagement.
Through this new schedule, Elisabeth was able to post on social media, her blog, and her emails consistently at a higher cadence than she was previously with high-quality content that connected with her audience. Most importantly, Elisabeth gained more confidence in her social media and digital marketing efforts, and learned about her limits and where she needs more support for long-term sustainability.
Results
After working on various digital marketing initiatives over the course of several years, we helped increase her overall online shop sales, presence, Average Order Value and Lifetime Value of her customers. Representative of some of our other marketing consulting accomplishments include:
