The Photo Process

We get to know each other over phone or video and plan the logistics of your shoot. You’ll receive a contract to review and sign with an invoice for your initial deposit. We’ll follow up after our chat with next steps and action items to help you prepare for your shoot.

The RMCS team hones in on the creative direction for your shoot. We’ll start scouting and booking locations and/or models, compile call sheets and shotlists, and create moodboards. This process takes anywhere from 1-6 weeks.

This is when the magic happens! After tons of prep work and organization, your shoot should be as stress-free and relaxed as possible. Shoot times vary based on the type of shoot needed, but we move fast to capture as much material as possible within your allotted time. Shoot day can take anywhere from 1 hour to a full day.

We know you’re excited to see your photos as soon as your shoot is over. We’ll get you RAW images within 48-72 hours of your shoot. Pour through a private gallery of your images, choose the ones that speak to you, and let us know which ones you’d like us to refine.

Once you’ve made your selection, we’ll send you a few edited samples to ensure you’re happy with the aesthetic direction before we finish editing.
With your approval, we’ll finish editing the rest of your images and get them to you in 7-14 days.

Frequently Asked Questions - Photo & Video
We are based in Los Angeles but can be booked for compensated travel both domestically and internationally.
After your shoot, you’ll receive the unedited images within 48 hours. Once YOU make your selections and send us a list of your favorites, we fully edit and deliver all photography and video within 7-14.
Yes. To hold your date, we require a $100, non-refundable deposit. This will be deducted from your overall shoot cost. If something comes up where you’re unable to make your shoot date, we’ll reschedule once without any extra charge.
We accept cash, Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, or credit cards.
We have payment plans available for select photography and video bookings. Please inquire about payment plans at your consultation.
We are available for sessions 7 days a week between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 p.m.
Depending on your needs, we have various studios available for rent as well as recommendations on where to shoot outdoors. We also have portable studio equipment that can be set up at your office, home, backyard, or rehearsal studio.
Yes! We have an incredible team of hair, makeup, and wardrobe stylists on staff and who we work with frequently to fully amplify your look. These services are included in select photo and video packages. Check out our styling services.
Yes. While contracts can be intimidating, they’re meant to protect both parties. Contracts hold us accountable for delivering all of your imagery on time and ensure we clearly outline license and usage rights, credits, and costs. Unfortunately, we do not do business with folks unwilling to sign a contract.
We’d love to tell you to bring all of your friends, family, and fur babies to your shoot, but we recommend bringing essential people only. Many studio locations charge by how many people will be on set and we want to be mindful of those costs. Also, having too many supportive cheerleaders can be distracting and slow down the process. Since overall costs for photo and video services are by the hour, we want to capture as MUCH as possible in the time allotted so you get the most out of your investment.

We offer professional Hair and Makeup Application and professional Wardrobe Styling for your shoot or special event. Each service includes a consultation, strategic moodboards, a customized e-magazine with wardrobe looks and shoppable links, and the on-site application. Glam services are available as individual services, or add-on’s to any photo or video package.

Frequently Asked Questions - Hair & Makeup Services
Whether you’re looking for a flawless, natural look or something a bit more glam, our artists are experts at accentuating your best features regardless of makeup style.
Our artists are professionally trained to work on all skin types, tones, and hair types.
All of our makeup and styling tools are cleaned and disinfected after every application. We also use select disposable tools to ensure the health and safety of our clients.
An initial makeup application takes at least 1-1.5 hours or more depending on the level of detail. Prosthetics, body makeup, or retouching will take additional time.
Though you can get your makeup done on-site, we like to be mindful of your budget. We recommend getting your makeup done at home or another location prior to your shoot. Our makeup artists and hairstylists will come to you! For locations outside a 10-mile radius of the shoot location, a small travel and parking fee will be added to the overall cost.
For basic styling, curls, and braids, we recommend allotting between 1-1.5 hours for hair. If you wish to have both hair and makeup services, both can be done at the same time. For more extensive styling like extensions, beads, or other decorative elements, we recommend 2-2.5 hours.
